The Gozzard 36 was designed by H. Ted Gozzard, and 84 hulls were built by the family's North Castle Marine boatworks in Goderich, Ontario, Canada, between 1984 and 1998. The richly appointed interior layouts, as well as the engine location and relative horsepower evolved as production continued, but the build quality never veered from excellent.
