Andrew got started at a young age getting his first job as a dock attendant at Haverstraw Marina at the age of 14. After a few years of working as dock attendant, lifeguard, and the fuel dock, he began to show interest in Great Hudson and the Beneteau brand. Once he turned 18, Miles Gordon hired him in his service department for basic tasks like washing, waxing, sanding, cleaning etc... While attending college he returned during breaks and the summers to further assist with the commissioning process. Along the way he began to assist with more rigging and mechanical services, and after college decided to stay on full time. He recently sold his O’day 28 which he salvaged from the weeds of the west yard, and is always keeping an eye out for his next project.
While Andrew is still active in the commissioning process he can also be found in the office these days assisting with the business side of things. If he can’t be found at his desk, he is either crawling through a cockpit locker with a wrench, climbing a mast to make some adjustments, or out delivering boats with our captains.
