The NEVINS 40 (S&S Design No. 1068) was designed by Sparkman & Stevens to be built by Henry B. Nevins Shipyard on City Island in New York. Nevins built eleven of these keel/centerboard yawls from 1955 to 1960. The design is a development of another Sparkman & Stephens yawl... the legendary FINISTERRE.
